Delivery Policy/Rates/Terms
We offer 'Standard' shipping for delivery to regions A + B signposted above, (SEE BELOW FOR THANET DELIVERY} and delivery to zone C + D for an additional charge.
Delivery Rates
All orders for delivery within Thanet incur a £2.00 delivery charge
Packaging & postage costs for next day delivery in zones A +B . Please ask for price.
For Zones C + D, please ask for price.
Shipping Information/Delivery Issues
All deliveries will be issued an estimated delivery date, on which acceptance of the package must be made. You will receive notifications when you order is sent and be given a tracking number. Specific delivery time slots may be offered by the courier (Royal Mail) but this is not guaranteed and deliveries can sometimes continue into the evening. Customers are strongly advised to be present for deliveries as a signature will be required upon acceptance of the package. We cannot accept liability for products spoiled due to missed deliveries or deliveries rescheduled to outside of the 24 hour shipment window. This also includes missed deliveries for customers who have ordered delivery to their place of work, but have not stayed long enough to accept the deliveries that have been attempted in the evenings.
Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to monitor the tracking of their parcel and contact the courier to organise any redelivery, should deliveries fail due to lack of acceptance of a package or issues with customer's address. Due to data privacy laws Garfield’s Vegan Food Company is not able to arrange redelivery on a customer's behalf. Should no efforts to contact the courier or Garfield’s Vegan Food Company be made within 24 hours of items being due for delivery, we cannot be held liable for any spoiled goods.
Our delivery packaging guarantees items will remain at below 5°C for 24 hours (our shipment window), and below 8°C for 48 hours (extended shipment window). Customers are advised to remove the products from their insulated delivery box and liners, and to refrigerate products immediately after receipt of delivery (we would also recommend unwrapping the cheeses and placing in a sealed container to maintain freshness).
Refund Policy
Due to the fresh and often organic nature of our produce, returns of perishable goods cannot be accepted. Should there be an incorrect, faulty, or damaged item in your delivery we must be informed within 24 hours of the package being received in order to offer replacements or refunds. Images of defective or incorrect items may be requested in order for us to file claims with our delivery providers.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is approved, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 5-7 working days.
